    MILITARY EXGHIBIT AT THE MUSEUM

MILITARY EXGHIBIT AT THE MUSEUMVeterans Exhibit - Working Warriors: Military Life Beyond
    Combat - May 14 to June 12

This exhibit is made possible through a loan from the Wisconsin Veterans Museum and a financial grant from the Wisconsin Humanities Council. By viewing the display, the entire family will learn more about Wisconsin military history, the sacrifices of the soldiers, and the contributions of a variety of support personnel. About 75% of military work is considered non-combat. These roles rarely make the headlines, but are vital to every military operation. Exploring the non-combat roles of military service personnel, including work as barbers, military police, dentists, mechanics, and photographers, this exhibit showcases an often overlooked but highly relatable side of military life. This exhibit is presented in a pop-up banner format.
The museum will be open after the Memorial Day parade and program at the Veterans Memorial. This is a great time to bring the family to the museum. The slide show featuring Seymour area veterans will be showing.
