MEMORY FOREST AND CHRISTMAS OPEN HOUSE

MEMORY FOREST AND CHRISTMAS OPEN HOUSEChristmas Open House (Stockings pictured)

Circle Saturday, December 4, on your Calendar. It is the date of the museum open house and bake sale. The theme this year is “The Sounds of Christmas.” As usual, outstanding homemade baked goods will be available including a variety of pies. A new twist this year features 45 Christmas stockings prepared and stuffed by Janice Eick. The colorful stockings can be purchased for $10.00 with each recipient entered in a raffle for one of Tillie Stuflat’s dolls. Tillie has donated nine dolls as gifts. Pick up your bakery, purchase a stocking, and win one of the nine dolls. The museum will open at 9:00 AM All proceeds will be donated to the new museum building fund.

    Memory Forest
The Christmas season is rapidly approaching and the historical society will once again sponsor the “Memory Forest.” The trees will be up and ready to be decorated by Thanksgiving. To reserve a tree call Janice Eick at Northeastern Roofing (833-6184). The trees are available for a minimum donation of $25.00. Help light up Depot Street and promote the Christmas spirit. A special “thank you” to Dr. Don and Gail Hoff for their donation of the beautiful trees. All proceeds benefit the museum building fund.
